Gripe4rkids.com is a website put together by the East Coast Gang Investigators Association, Inc.
to announce its new program called GRIPE (Gang Reduction through Intervention, Prevention and Education). The program is dedicated to the promotion and coordination of anti-gang strategies in the northeast region of the United States. The EACGIA provides training to communities with gang problems in order to assist in fighting this emerging problem. Input is also provided to policy makers, program administrators, businesses, and corporate security. Since kids are starting to get involved in gang activities as early as the age of 7 or 8, the mission of this program is to shut down gang recruitment of children. The focus is placed on training children, community workers, teachers, parents, etc. The EACGIA plans to provide the law enforcement community with instructors in gang discipline so that members can educate the communities on the negative aspects of gangs as well as how to recognize the first signs of gang involvement.
