Granta is a well-known literary UK based magazine that was originated in the 70s, and has strived (and managed) to establish itself as an authority when it comes to pinpointing the young talents of a generation. The magazine appears several times a year (generally four or five), is sold by subscription, and is also available in bookstores.
Visitors of this site will be able to explore the complete catalogue of the magazine’s issues and read limited excerpts, short stories and essays by some of the most prominent talents in the English language that have appeared in the magazine throughout its 100 issues. Since last year, the magazine has set out to reproduce its feat of discovery and good literature in Spanish, launching a version of the magazine that publishes the works of Spanish-speaking authors, some of which have been published by the original magazine. Granta has also launched a publishing house, whose catalogue users can take a look at. Purchases of the magazine and books are available from the site, as are the subscriptions.
