Gotham Gazette is a journal that covers news items and policy issues incumbent on citizens of New York City. It is published daily by the Citizen Union Foundation of the City of New York, a non-profit organization.
Besides providing a general overview of the most salient issues that face New York citizens, the publication is subdivided into the following sections: “City Government”, “Immigrants”, “Community Gazette”, and “Eye On Albany”. The “City Gazette” page stands as a guide to the city and government of New York, whereas the “Immigrants” section collects articles from the immigrant and ethnic press of New York, which are translated and featured. On the other hand, the “Community Gazette” section focuses on every community that is found in City of New York. Finally, the “Eye On Albany” page deals with the efforts that are made to reform state government. Furthermore, readers can sign up for a free newsletter that contains the latest developments.
