Cashboard is a software program to help you manage your time and money as a small business, student, or organization. Started by a new business owner who struggled to manage his burgeoning consulting firm, Cashboard creates estimates and track you performance, logs times for yourself, your employees and subcontractors, and sends and tracks invoices.
It is a service offered by quite a few sites these days, although the feature that logs your time (and your employees time) was a welcome addition. I can see how easy it is to lose track of projects you are working on and therefore not getting paid for those hours. Overall, the design and interface were fairly easy to navigate, although I wasn’t a huge fan of the black backdrop color (not as professional looking as I would prefer).

It helps that this site grew out of personal experience and seems tailor made for those users that need it the most. The traffic is decent and the users who submitted testimonials seemed pleased with the service.

I would prefer a slightly more professional design and interface, particularly when it comes to layout. Also, they testimonials didn’t come attached with business names, which made me question their credibility. Also, why are they giving this program away for 30 days free? Is that because they don’t have a lot of paying customers or is it successful tactic to draw in and keep new clients? How does this site fare against its competitors in terms of profit?
