Get Feedback The Fortune 500 Way At Bargain Prices

Starting out on the right foot is so important for startup founders – it saves a lot of time, money, and heartbreak to know whether or not a concept has promise BEFORE deciding to run ahead with a project.

From forums to consultancies, there are a ton of options for receiving feedback at wildly different prices. However, no one seems to have nailed this space yet, settled on a tried and true method for finding early validation (other than huge companies with vast resources and nearly unlimited budgets). Validatio proposes a solid solution for garnering key input at a reasonable price.

Validatio (Validat.io) offers a way to test an idea, website, service, etc. using the same methodology as Fortune 500 companies, but quickly and easily. After entering in details about a proposed business, 10 questions are then sent to target respondents. Within a week’s time, a report returns analyzing the possibilities for success.

The process centers around gaining insights into 5 factors: Problem, Solution, Likeability, Virality, Pricing. In other words, questions gauge how big the problem that you’re thinking about tackling actually is for customers and how good your proposed solution might be. The survey helps assess if people are likely to recommend and talk about your product or service, and what they might be willing to pay.

The structuring of questions produces unbiased feedback fit for both analysis and comparisons to other new products previously tested. This helps to identify the strengths and weaknesses of an idea, point out related opportunities, and generates suggestions on how an idea might be improved.

Validatio is “meant for individuals, startups or small businesses with consumer facing, early stage ideas. This might mean an idea in your head, something that you’ve started researching, or even a product that has just launched.”

Pricing begins at $25 for feedback from 20 respondents. This might be sufficient to float an idea. Maybe you need to hear from a 100 people before trusting to pour yourself into an endeavor. Regardless of the sample size, the prices Validatio sets are much cheaper than building something doomed to fail.
