Geograph.org.uk – Taking Photos of the British Isles

Geograph.org.ukThe Geograph British Isles project has a grand objective whose scale would even beleaguer any Cristo endeavor. The aim:
to photograph the UK in its entirety.

Every last square kilometer is to be snapped and memorialized in a photo. If you’ve got photos, do submit them. However they must depict clearly whatever geographical features there are within the square. A short description should also be included. If you’re the first to submit a geograph for an area you’ll get a point added to your profile—see how many you can collect. Supplemental photos and multiples of a square are accepted, but no points are given. Browse through the collection by clicking on squares and zooming in on specific sections. Hovering over each pic should open up a description.
