As its name suggests, Future Message is an application that will let you arrange a message to be sent sometime in the future. The range of supported messages goes well beyond email, as you can both tweets and SMS quite effortlessly.
And the process in which the future message is composed couldn’t be easier, since you simply have to type it down in the box that is provided, choose the date in which it should be delivered and the actual method of communication. Note that if you choose to have the message sent as a SMS you have to key in the phone number without using formatting of any kind. Other than that, I am sure you will have no difficulty setting it all into motion.
The site has been created by a high school student that resides in Drupal, and it is entirely free to use. There are neither set up nor recurring fees, and the concept is a good one on the whole. Let’s see in which direction it evolves and if new contact methods are eventually provided.
