Boasting no less than 100,000 photos in a broad range of categories, this site is a free image/photo bank which online merchants will be happy to know about, as it hosts an immense amount of images of home appliances, hardware and décor items which will allow them to save time taking pictures of the products for their sites, as they can get them directly from here. There are, however, lots of problems with Fotos.
org, for instance the lack of tags: by now it’s clear that searching for photos based on title or one category is complicated and often unfruitful. The second, and this is just crazy, is that you can’t really download the images: the right-click option is disabled for the whole of the site, and nothing changes if you become a member. Puzzled? So was I, so I tried to find an ‘About Us’ or help page, but none was to be found. The images can be previewed at some 500 pixels, and you can try the ‘Vista de Impresión’ (the site is in Spanish) to see it bigger, which lead me to think that one way to explain such a strange thing would be that instead of allowing users to download the images, the only way to get hold of them would be through screen shots, because how else can you possibly explain the fact that there is no download button in the whole page, nor information on image quality or file size?
