HOW TO WIN A BID
The person who offers the “Single Highest Bid” for the deal at the close of the auction will win the bid.
For example,
4N Banyan Tree accommodation
Retail Price: S$1,600
Maximum Bid Price: S$200.
– 1(ONE) person offers S$200
– 1(ONE) person offers S$198
– 1(ONE) person offers S$197
The person who offered $200 is the winner of the bid. However, if TWO people had offered $200, then the winner of the bid is the person who bid at $198, and so on.
If we cannot find any bid value in an auction that has a single bidder, then we will first look for the highest bid value with the least number of bidders, and the winner will be the first (Each bid submitted will be recorded at the exact time it was received) bidder in that group.
