A social service that combines music with flirting, Fellody works with anybody’s iTunes & Windows Media Player in order to let him find people he could have some fun with. This new web service can go through all the music you like in order to find people who have similar tastes, right where you live (or where you happen to be located – it’s all the same).
Fellody accounts cost nothing, and in order to register all you have to do is to supply some information like your name, your gender and what you’re looking for. You also have to supply a valid email address (an activation link will be sent to it). Once your account is operational, you’ll be able to launch the Fellody client (available both for Windows and Mac) and start being paired with people who are a good match. And Fellody always compiles a long list of matches, it doesn’t just come up with two or three people that would be worth it.
How useful you’ll find Fellody lies in direct proportion to the significance that music has to you, of course. Rock & rollers that would be seen dead walking hand in hand with someone wearing a Pussycat Dolls t-shirt are the ones Fellody is resonating more deeply with. Conversely, if music is what you listen to in the background while doing the cleaning then it isn’t being that effective.
