Not all sites come complete with the option to have their content syndicated, which means you are not able to access them on an application such as Google Reader. And people whose jobs involve scanning lots of different websites on a daily basis could hardly be more frustrated. I know it all-too well – I am one such person myself. And when a site is not RSS-friendly, that is reason enough for me to put in on my blacklist.
Well, it looks as if that should stop being a problem now. This new web service basically lets users take any site that they find on the Internet and have it turned into something that can be handled by Google Reader et all. All that the user has to do is to specify the URL to be processed for the application to take care of everything.
This service is free for individual users, whereas those who can envision using it massively will be able to buy a commercial license and process websites in bulk through it. Commercial licenses start at $9.99 per month.
