Favicon is simple web app which lets you create, you guessed it, favicons. Favicons are essentially like avatars for your website; you know, the little thumbnail images that appear to the left of a site’s url in your browser’s navigation bar.
To create a favicon, simply cut and paste the url of an image, or upload one from your desktop. The image will then be displayed in a small editing box in which you can use your mouse to click and drag to specify the area of the image you wish to have included in the favicon. When you’re done, simply click “Capture”, and you’ll be presented with a preview of your new favicon.
