As its name suggests, the Fallen Heroes Memorial website is an online source of information that collects the names of those military operatives that have fallen in the line of combat. The site covers two different scenarios, namely Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
The former was the operation that marked the commencement of the current war in Iraq, whereas the latter is the official name that the U.S. government has given to one of the main armed activities of the Global War on Terrorism. As a consequence, the website is made up of two alphabetical lists that can be browsed through accordingly. These lists can also be arranged in several manners, and aspects such as rank, base and age can be taken into account. Moreover, it is possible to arrange the provided lists chronologically. Remarkable features of the site include photographs of those who have fallen in battle and support messages that are submitted by visitors.
