EdocZA is a search engine for documents. While it is true that the results it can produce are replicable if we were to use some filters when carrying out a Google search, it is also true that not everybody knows how to do that, or (something that sounds more likely to me) not everybody can be bothered to start tweaking with such advanced search options.
That is why a site like this one has got more than just marginal value.
As it stands, you can look up documents of every denomination – PDFs, DOCs, XLSs, RTFs… the list is a long and winding one, and it is interesting to mention that you can even find Flash files (SWF) through it.
Once you have selected the type of document you are after, you can then pick the corresponding language for the engine to apply these parameters to the keywords that you have inputted. About thirty different languages are featured, too. Again – a refined Google search can yield the same results. But if you want the job done before you even notice, this is a valid option.
