EchoEcho is a new geo-location app that makes it really easy to meet up with your friends. The app (which is available for free) lets you share your location with friends, and find where they are without having to send a single SMS. When using this app, you can share where it’s that you’re located in a single tap. And you can have that information shared even with people who haven’t downloaded the app.
Plus, EchoEcho comes with some great features such as a chat for discussing plans with friends, and also for agreeing on a place to meet. Anywhere in the world will do.
If an application like EchoEcho becomes popular, then that would mean you will never again have to wait for half an hour at a Starbuck just to realize your friend is actually waiting for you at the one located four blocks away. Not to mention that such an app makes it incredibly easy to pick up any friend who’s coming to town for the first time, and who’s waiting at the airport.
EchoEcho is available not only for iPhone and for Android but also for Blackberry and Nokia. And a Windows 7 version of the app is also on the works.
