Ease The Pain Of Site Development With Easy Web Content

Pretty much everyone is online these days; I mean, my great-grandma has a Facebook profile. (That she uses! I swear I’m not lying.)

Back in the old days, it took serious professionals and a lot of money to build a decent website, and even then they were usually pretty… um… lame. But lucky for us, we have entered the light of the 21st Century and now companies like Easy Web Content exist to help you build a sweet website all your own, for waaaaay less than you would have paid back in the day.

Easy WebContent provides a platform and all of the tools for even the most tech-challenged (are you listening, Great-Grandma?) to publish and maintain a well designed website. They even have in-house designers you can talk to if you need a little help along the way, which means that you, reader, need to go take a good, critical look at your website and then possibly go sign up…

Founder Paymen Taei doesn’t see himself as an entrepreneur, but he does love pit bulls. Keep reading for more.

How’d you come up with the name for your company?

We are all about making managing web content easy. So, the name Easy WebContent made sense and we decided to conjoin “Web” with “Content” since they are closely associated in our solutions.

How many people did you start the company with and how many people work for you now?

It started with me and over years I have dedicated more members of HindSite Interactive team to Easy Web Content. Currently 4 other colleagues are dedicated to it.

How do you handle frustration? When/how was the last time you dealt with frustration?

Early on I found out punching a few holes in the wall really helps, but today I try to locate the source of the problem and work on a solution that can help alleviate that frustration.

Last time I dealt with frustration? Hmm; I do run a business so say a few hours ago?

What’s your office environment like? Is it the kind of place where everyone is bumpin’ away to house music or is it more traditional?

It’s in between. We don’t have scooters rolling or nerf balls shooting around. But it is kept comfortable and flexible; you can listen to whatever music you like, have a Hulu playing on your screen, etc… Whatever helps to get creative juices flowing.

How do you picture your company in 5 years?

To have grown into a larger company with revenues sustaining our love and passion to improve on new solutions and services to support our growing user base.

Who or what inspires YOU? Role models? Quotes? Running? Video games? Snack food? Give us the deets, dude!

Inspiration: Great artists; how they absorb the space and time around them and migrate them into a snapshot.

Snack food: Mixed Nuts, lots of it.

Video Games: Too scared to touch them; I might get addicted. Let’s just say my vintage Xbox has got a couple inches of dust settled on it.

Stress relief: Nothing like hitting the weight room after a long day to clear up the mind. Some people run, I like to push weights.

Quotes: “The successful person is poised and centered in the midst of all activities…” an excerpt from Lao-Tzu.

How’d you fund this venture? VC? Self-funding? Crowd-funded? Where’d you get the money, man?

Easy WebContent has been self funded personally and developed with assistance of the great team at our web development company HindSite Interactive. We continue to heavily dedicate resources to the development and creation of upgrades and new solutions.

Got any great bootstrapping tips for the lean startups out there?

Keep it short and simple. Be budget conscious and if going for VC and investors, decide early how much control you wish to give away in exchange for advice and funds.

What would you be doing if you had one year off and $500,000 to spend (and you couldn’t spend it on your currently startup / projects)

10% I would give to charity which is what we do at the end of each year at Easy WebContent. A portion of time I would dedicate towards cause(s) I believe in. Remaining I would travel the world and explore new places and new cultures.

Do you consider yourself a successful entrepreneur right now? If not, what’s it gonna take to make you feel successful?

I don’t think I will ever personally consider myself an “entrepreneur;” I like to create solutions that simplify tasks for individuals and businesses, and consider any revenue generated as a side effect. Perhaps years down the road I will look back and measure whether I feel I was successful or not in my goals.

Website you couldn’t live without and why?

Since we’re getting specific here, I might get penalized if I don’t say KillerStartups.com; Aside from that, TechCrunch to get my daily tech buzz and TMZ to indulge my brain in anything about nothing.

Dogs or cats?

Dogs! What kind? Love them all but always had American Staphashire Terrier (Pit Bulls). Unlike their media image, they are one of the most loyal and affectionate dogs you will ever meet. My current dog “Lady Bug” wins the heart of anyone who meets her.

iOS or Android?

Both are great; but since I’m an avid iPhone user, I have to pick iOS.

What’s the greatest thing about your company/website/idea?

The greatest thing about our idea is that our goal is to simplify the way users develop, maintain and manage their web presence. We want our platform to inspire our users to take control over their online presence easily and more efficiently.

Where can our readers get ahold of you? Facebook? Twitter? Google+? Personal blog? Any other projects you’re working on that we should check out?
