Ever been Digg-ing around on the internet and followed a link to a story, only to find that the page has been deleted or is timed-out? This is called the “digg-effect” and yes, it makes us all a little bit angry that the site traffic is overloaded, but thanks to DuggBack, we can now view mirrors and web caches before the site was timed out or went down. Duggback is not affiliated with Digg but utlizes the API for their mirroring and snapshot service.
The mirroring services provided by Duggback include DuggMirror, Coral CDN, Wayback, Machine and DotCache, text-only backups provided for by all the major search engines: Google, Yahoo!, Live Search, and Ask. You also have access to older versions of the website which are organized by year.
