The library has hundreds of thousands of books and magazines, downloadable digital content, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, research tools, and commercial databases that anyone that lives in Douglas county can take advantage of. The highly trained staff is always eager to help out in order for everyone to find exactly what they’re looking for. There are many different programs, meeting rooms, and other ways in which the community can come together. The Douglas County Libraries have several service locations around Douglas County including regional libraries in Castle Rock, Parker and Highlands Ranch, neighborhood libraries in Lone Tree, Roxboro and Louviers, a bookmobile that stops in several locations, a pick-up point at Cherry valley Elementary, and even special door-to-door deliveries to homebound residents.
