diggm8 is a new mobile app that lets you access and use Digg on your cell phone. While it’s true that there are other applications out there created for this sole purpose (Digg River and Opera Mini, eg), diggm8 supports a wider variety of mobile devices and platforms.
With diggmate, you also don’t have to install any software; just use your phone’s browser to as you would normally. You can also read the entire story and download and send pictures via email. diggm8 accomplishes all of this by using RSS to we get updated lists of popular news and convert it to one of several mobile standards (WML, XHTML-MP, HDML, cHTML, MML) according to your mobile device.

diggm8 might be a more utilitarian way of accessing and using Digg from your mobile device, since it offers some features that competitors don’t’ and supports more mobile devices and browsers.
Some Questions About Diggm8.com
diggm8 is still in the alpha version, so it suffers from a few minor glitches. For example, the “x”, “y”, and “z” don’t work, and stories won’t display well if they have a lot of javascript. Plus, you can’t actually Digg a story yet as no API is available. When will diggm8 solve all these issues?
