A project by Mr. Matthias Jung, Dezidr evolved from a tool named “Decision Matrix” that he used in order to weigh up the different considerations at play whenever a decision had to be made.
Dezidr is a web-based resource that aims to let users become aware of what is important to them while having feedback and the opinions of others to count upon.
The main page of the site spotlights recently-added dilemmas and questions, whereas those who have attracted the most attention can be found underneath the “Most popular” banner. There is also a list of popular tags, and it is made up of keywords such as “Event planning”, “Travel” and “Social”.
This system is free and available to anybody at all – there is no need to register nor provide any information.
The project is always being developed and expanded, so if you have any thoughts you would like to share with Mr. Jung make sure to drop him a line. He can be reached at [email protected]. Also, don’t forget to contact him if you use Dezidr regularly in order to show him your support and appreciation.
Dezidr.com In Their Own Words
“At the beginning there was this little tool called Decision Matrix that I sometimes use when I need to make an important decision. It has often helped me since it forces me to think about all possible alternatives of my decision and to become aware about what is really important for me. It brings together my mind and my guts. Instead of writing it down on paper or setting up an Excel-Sheet, I asked myself: why not creating a web-application? If this is useful for me, isn’t there a good chance that it is useful for others? In addition, users may tap into the experience of others that already stood before a similar problem and get propositions for alternatives to an option, relevant criteria, and a collection of links.”
