Dean’s World is one of the oldest and well-known weblogs in the cyberspace. It evolved out of a pre-blog opinion site called “Dangerous Thoughts” that started in the late 1990s, and eventually became Dean’s World in early 2002.
The members actively discuss politics, science, history, religion, and even occasionally pop culture and entertainment. They believe they have the best comments sections in the world; many thousands of people visit Dean’s World every day, less than 1% comment because they run a pretty tight ship: they do require registration, and people who engage in abusive behavior are often asked to leave. At the left hand side of the homepage you will find some navigation tools, and a search box where you can look for the archives. In that section of the website you will also learn more about the contributing editors and what they support.
