By now, we all know that long intros don’t really do much for traffic and that they are usually not effective teasers, but once you take a look at this bizarre jiggling skeleton of a creature, you will want to take a look at what’s inside for sure. And here’s what you’ll find: a library of the mainstream and classic obscure, vampire and monster-inclined art in a variety of media, ranging from literature (including gothic and terror masters like Poe, Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker) both in text and audio format to galleries of vampires in film billboards.
If you are into the performance arts, you’ll probably be glad to learn that there’s several interviews with movie and theatre actors who had roles in popular horror productions. Also interesting about the site are the gallery of cemeteries from across the country (they even have a GraveyardGirls section prompting ladies to send in their pictures in full goth attire next to their preferred tombstone, but they don’t seem to have been too successful with the initiative). Also interesting are the guides to visual arts, featuring works from well known painters of different schools and origins, and it’s a great opportunity to see some of Dagon’s, the guy in charge of this great and entertaining site, work.
