Being able to know who is at which venue is really practical but having so much technology available can but make us exigent, and demand even more. What if we could know more than who is at any place by way of a check-in? What about being able to actually see the way things are going at any venue through a photo or (better still) a short video? Well, that’s precisely what this new iPhone app provides its users with. And what’s even more interesting is how one can get pictures and videos of these venues he feels like visiting.
Basically, Crowdmug enables users to offer a reward to the ones who manage to provide them with photos and videos of the places they want to have a better appreciation of. People who manage to provide such media within a specific time limit are getting the prize money that has been offered.
The way Crowdmug works, users can request up to 3 photos and 1 video simultaneously. And an Android version of the app should see release before too long.
And besides the obvious leisure uses this can have, something like Crowdmug can be of great aid for event planners – they could check venues without even having to get near them in person. A mere request would do the trick.
