I think we will agree that the social media phenomenon is the closest we have come yet to a technological development that mirrors the train of events in real life as minutely and instantly as possible. It makes perfect sense that social search engines start materializing, letting you find out what is being tweeted about the most.
This portal accomplishes that goal. In addition to the ever-present search bar, there is also a perfunctory collection of tags and crucial keywords at any given time. When I reviewed the site, the keywords included right there were“Obama”, “Iran Election” and “US Open”.
There is not really a lot to add about the mechanics of the site. I am left thinking that portals such as this one can pose a real threat to other established search alternatives. Of course, the minute these established search giants include a thorough social search feature the matter ends there. For the time being, search portals such as this one are bound to do the part.
