BooksConnect is a new community based site aimed at the reading crowd. Hailing from the UK, the site is actually an extension of an online bookstore called CountryBook.
This new network allows readers to browse and search for books by title, author or ISBN. You can add books to your bookshelf, look at other’s shelves, write and read reviews, check out book recommendations and create groups. Event listings aim to inform readers of book related goings-on in your town. Authors can promote their own works by adding events or creating discussion groups. BooksConnect requires registration to join, but in all cases, it is free to do so.
