It is no longer enough to be able to listen to music online. No, we want much more. We want to be able to tell others about all these great (and not so great) songs that we have come across so that they know which music is worth getting and which is a waste of time. And that is why services like Console are released. We can term it a platform for both listening to music and chatting about it on the World Wide Web.
Specifically, it is platform which is meant to be used by those who like electronic music. These will be able to log into the service by using their Twitter accounts, and then chat with others who are also listening to the very same songs that they are playing.
Chat windows are located on the right-hand side of the main page, in a position pretty much reminiscent of the chat you get when you are on Facebook.
Personally, I found the site quite well-arranged, but not being a fan of electronic music I couldn’t really derive a lot of fun from it. I’m eagerly looking forward to related sites that cover these genres I like such as rock, pop and country. It shouldn’t be that hard to do – this site proves the technology is now available, after all.
