Located in Austin, Texas, Concordia University is a private college of Lutheran orientation, and by taking a look around the site you’ll be able to find all the information you might need when considering it as a part of your future, whether you are an undergraduate, graduate student or professor. The site is very nicely designed and is very user friendly, covering different aspects of the curricular, evangelization and athletic programs, and also data on financial aid.
Directories of alumni, faculty and staff are accessible through the site, as is the library, but in order to browse its contents you’ll need a password. Some universities and colleges are starting to include a directory of student and faculty blogs of interest in their homepages as a way to showcase the kind of work that goes on in the institution, and research projects briefing or highlights seems a must-add to Concordia.edu; other universities also include a subject recommendation area, where some interesting but unheard-of majors and courses are featured. I wonder if they can think about adding such features to the site anytime soon…
