Want to make a million dollars? Who doesn’t? Well if you submit your short video clips to ClipStar.com you have a chance at winning a grand price of one million dollars.
How does it work? Well you need to create a short video clip, maximum of 10 minutes and 100MB is the maximum size. You must be 16 years old to participate. When you upload your video to ClipStar.com you must enter it into one of the following 9 categories; Singers, Band or Group, Comedy, Acting, Director or Film, Animation, Dance, Music or Any Other. The global online talent competition has 4 quarterly competitions, every three months. One users video clip from each category will win each quarterly competition and with that $10,000 and proceed to the Grand Final, where they will face off with the other winners of the other quarterly competitions. The voting history of each film is wiped out for the final competition and the best film will win the grand prize of one million dollars and a potential lucrative contract from one of Clipstar’s many partners. However, dig a little deeper and you’ll discover a site with impressive diversity. The Clipstar Community allows you to form Groups, create Blogs, email firends via your user profile and even Swap stuff. There’s also a Live Lounge coming soon, where users have a 5 minute pre booked slot to perform live to the rest of the community and once over the performance will be saved and entered into the pre selected category for automatic entry in to the competition.

ClipStar.com has a bold interface and is easy to navigate with all of the category headings organized at the top of the homepage. Voting is free. ClipStar.com whilst being very new has many different video clips to browse through with a large category selection. There is a video for everyone and every interest. ClipStar.com has a countdown to the contest starting and will continue to countdown during each competition quarter which is helpful so users know when the deadline is and get their film organized. The site is worth visiting just to see the “My poor hamster” video, under the Any Other category, hilarious.
