Civics Online is an Internet project, that cares about children and their learning processes related to civics; that’s why they dedicate all their efforts into providing multimedia primary source materials and learning tools that will improve the quality of the civics lessons. This site is divided into three sections; one for parents, one for teachers, and one for students.
At the teachers’ area, you will be able to find library resources, classroom activities created specifically for civics, and case studies, among many other options. Students will also have access to an online library, a glossary, and they will obtain information about civics’ exploration. The parents’ link provides information on how to explore civics with their children, and general facts about civic education so that they can be informed about what their kids are learning. This organization wants you to get in touch with them if you have any suggestions on how to make this site even more useful for teachers, students, or parents.
