ChipWrapper is a tool for searching UK newspapers on the net. Currently, the site employs a Google Custom search engine and is capable of searching nine of the UK’s top papers including the Guardian, the Times, and the Telegraph.
Other Chipwrapper functionalities include a browser search plugin, RSS headline feeds, and a customized Google Toolbar button. Using the site’s headline buzz tool, you can see the day’s most viewed topics via a tagcloud. For Rugby fans, there’s now a Rugby edition of Chipwrapper and you can get the site on your mobile phone. All Chipwrapper’s data mashups are available for anyone to use too.
