CatchTube, cashing in on the Youtube name, is of course a video related site. More precisely, CatchTube is a video search engine.
It pulls most of its videos from YouTube, in fact, it would be hard to find a video whose original source wasn’t YouTube. Using the site is a cinch. All you’ve got to do is type in your keywords and check out the results relayed to you. On the bottom of the site you’ll find popular tags. Most unsurprisingly, the most popular keywords have to do with adult topics, but there’s also quite a few tags related to 9-11 and bangla music, movies, songs, and girls. At the top, you’ll find most recent additions, top rated, most discussed, top favs, and most linked. Not quite sure who’s doing the discussion as there aren’t any interactive features on the site, at least none that I could find. CatchTube is free to use.

What really makes this site any better than YouTube itself, or any other video site for that matter? It’s poorly designed, there are no search filters, no community features, and nothing new. CatchTube is simply a rather piecemeal copy of other video search engines.
