Capcom has also released a new video featuring insights from series producer Akihito Kadowaki and game director Satoru Nihei on the upcoming game “Onimusha: Way of the Sword.” Players will journey through the historic Japanese capital of Edo-era Kyoto, now twisted by malevolent clouds of Malice. Each stage presents mysteries, dangers, and intrigue. In this dark fantasy narrative, gamers will battle against underworld monstrosities known as Genma.
The story follows a samurai wielding the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical artifact that grants its bearer the power to slay Genma. Through intense, blood-soaked brawls, he searches for his reason to fight. The series has sold over 8.7 million units worldwide.
