You know you have made it when you see your photo on the home page of Buzzxyz.com.
This site culls all the the latest gossip on people, politics, entertainment and games and organizes it by photos. You then click on the photo and can read the buzz on that person or situation in the blogosphere. From what I could see, it doesn”t take feeds from news sites, so the content is user-generated only. The downside is that many times you are referred to blogs that make only sparse mention of the person or subject you wanted to read about, so many of the blogs are more distracting than informative or interesting. It is an interesting idea and may be of value to those that love to read blogs, but it felt a tad overwhelming to me.

Why do they have their logo on the bottom of the home page? Can they improve the layout of the blog pages so you don”t feel overwhelmed? Is there any way to improve the way the site chooses the subject matter in the blogs it highlights (like maybe the person/subject has to be in the title or first paragraph or something to ensure the reader is not subjected to reading about a different topic?) How are they making a profit?
