A lot has been said about Buzz being a Twitter killer, although some of the masterminds behind Buzz were quickly to point out that the two services are complementary in more senses than one. The service under review right now seems to emphasize that point, since it will let anybody link his Twitter account with his Google Buzz.
In that way, those who follow you on Twitter are not required to follow you on Buzz in order to receive the updates (and also the media) that you are buzzing.
In theory, all the content that you buzz can be shared like this. It makes no difference the actual context from which you are buzzing it – you can send it through GMail, a Buzz Client and even Google Maps. The content will be displayed and imported regardless of where it originated from.
Note that messages can be longer than 140 characters, as your followers will be able to click on a “Read more” link. Also, if you want to be selective you can only tweet buzz that is accompanied by the keyword #twitter.
