Providing Marketing Agencies with the tools to have a more effective sales process
Problem the startup solves:
Blue Ribbon Leads Provides an All-in-One Marketing Solution for Agencies. We provide 10 combined softwares that generate B2B & B2C, and convert them using unlimited automated email sequences & chatbots. The main problem we solve is the pain of having to glue together 5 different softwares. Our goal is to make agency’s sales process smoother & create more revenue. Currently the alternatives are ZoomInfo, D7 Lead Finder, & Mail Chimp. With plans that start at just 49/month, we want to create an affordable for agencies to access all the tools they need.
Progress and Current Status:
We are on week 1 of launching the product and have so far achieved 25 users. They are still on the free trial. Currently the free trial doesn’t require a credit card. We want to build trust with our users first. We have gotten all of our users from Facebook Groups, and Outreach. We are starting to run ads, and focus on a long term SEO strategy.
What is an Inspiring Story about the Startup?:
Throughout my life, I have started many businesses that have failed. I’ve tried to make ecommerce brand, started a marketing agency. The only business that was mildly successful was an event photography business. Unfortunately, a drunk corporate clown fell on top of me and broke my camera. I’ve also had at least 15 different jobs including Sales Roles. I have really struggled to stick to one path, especially being recently diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve never been sastified by any job, and have loved every project I’ve taken on. I tried to grow a marketing agency for 6 months. I was stubborn to work for cheap to gain results. I blew my savings then got a job working in sales for a scam energy company. I had to source my own leads off the internet and got fired cause I wasn’t able to do 150 calls a day. Many of my coworkers were using ZoomInfo for leads but complained about the price. It struck a lightbulb in my head that maybe the market needed a new solution. I became very involved in the agency space online. There I saw a warm and welcoming group of people who are willing to help people succeed. I realized that one of the main problems new agencies face is a lack of leads. Beyond just a lack of leads, they faced a problem with converting them as well. I decided to create a software that can solve both problems. I paid a friend of mine $500 to develop all the programming for it. I started posting everyone in the agency groups, and have 25 onboarded members. I’m not a success story at the moment, but I am a story of perseverance. I am a jobless, poor, and uneducated fool with nothing to lose. But I am ambitious, intelligent, and ready to conquer. This software is my number 1 focus now. I don’t have a backup plan. All my belief, blood, sweat & tears are in this. This will become a success story soon. For now, I’m a 20 year old with big dreams.
What is a Company the Startup Looks Up to, and Why?:
I look up to the brand Coca Cola. Ignoring the fact that they manipulate governments and doctors. They’ve invented a lot of marketing tactics and branding techniques that are still used today. They even invented the modern interpretation of Santa Claus. Coca Cola has been effective at triggering an emotional response from consumers. I love watching the ads from both a design perspective & a marketing perspective, they are some of the best. The way they use psychology in their advertising is really inspiring. From the color red, to the sound of bubbles, or the sound of a bottle opening. All of that creates a positive nostalgic feeling that Coca Cola capitalizes on. They’ve been around for 100 years, but have managed to always stay relevant and loved by all ages. Being originally from Mexico, Coca Cola is way stronger over there. Plus I love Mexican Coke.
The Company in Four Years Will Be…
The company in four years will have clients all over the world. There will be a sales team that will go after enterprise clients. And a service team to make sure those clients are happy. The company will receive funding from angel investors. The company will either be bought out, or expanded into a global enterprise. Our marketing will become larger scale including TV ads.
