Using Stella, monitoring the performance of their apps (and debugging them) becomes a really effortless task. Stella can take care of looking at how any web app is working, and notify the developer the moment any serious slow down or outage is affecting it.
The overall response time of the site, the amount of time it takes for a connection with the server to be made, conflicting http headers… all these can be checked out simply by providing the URL of the site in question.
Stella can be used for one-off checkups, and also for ongoing monitoring. Four different plans are provided in the latter case. And in addition to letting developers do all that using a provided web interface, Stella can be used by installing the provided bookmarklet. This makes for running checkups from a toolbar, in an even more direct way.
