After being in closed beta for three months, Beepl has become publicly available. Beepl is a social site where you can ask questions, and have them answered by people who really know their stuff. And Beepl works in a way that’s really different from other Q & A answer websites such as Quora. Basically, on Beepl you don’t follow topics. Beepl works the other way around, as it has topics follow you. Beepl goes through your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles and using the information that it finds there it figures out what your interests are. And it automatically presents you with questions that reflect these interests.
Of course, you can also ask questions directly. What good would a Q & A site be without such an option? You can ask these contacts you’ve got on LinkedIn for business advice, you can ask people who do the marketing for brands on Twitter for help. You can even ask a new Facebook contact you want to be in better terms with a question you more or less know the answer to, just to break the ice and start talking.
And another feature that tells Beepl apart from a site like Quora is that there’s no moderators involved. Nobody curates what you ask and answer on this site, so that everything feels a lot more spontaneous.

Will the questions and answer posted on this site always go unedited? Doesn’t a site like Bleep need some monitoring just to ensure nothing inappropriate ever gets shared?
