There was a time (around the Middle Ages) in which kings and monarchs actually executed messengers who gave them bad news. Gee.
We have come a long way since that for sure, but if we were to be frank we would have to admit that whenever someone gives us a truly devastating piece of news then we all feel like committing a crime. And when we give them out ourselves, we mostly feel as if we were heinously betraying our loved ones.
It’s a good thing, then, that somebody came up with this new Internet tool. It is named the Bad News Robot, and it does exactly what its name suggests – it takes care of informing your friends about anything unpleasant that has happened for you.
It can do so via twitter, e-mail and phone. The first two options are free, and when it comes to the third one usual rates apply. In all cases, you have to fill in a form including the relevant contact information and the actual message that the Bad News Robot will have to communicate.
