Asus has unveiled its new Zenbook A14 laptop at CES 2025.

The ultrabook is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processors and features a lightweight design to compete with the Apple MacBook Air. The Zenbook A14 comes in two variants.

The lighter model weighs just 2.18 pounds, over half a pound less than the 13-inch MacBook Air.

It is equipped with a Snapdragon X series processor, up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The slightly heavier 2.4-pound variant houses a Snapdragon X Plus chipset, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

An additional option with the Snapdragon X Elite processor is available outside the USA.

Both models feature a 14-inch OLED display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support. The laptop is constructed using “ceraluminum” material, a blend of ceramic and aluminum that offers enhanced durability and a unique, scratch-resistant texture.
