This site is a computerized student-transfer information system which can be accessed through the Internet. It attempts to facilitate the transfer of students from the California Community College to California’s four year universities.
The site is well designed and one can find his way around it, although using ASSIST is rather complicated. However, this page dedicates a whole section of the main menu to help topics; such as what is ASSIST, how to use it and FAQ’s. It provides demos to explain how to proceed for the different uses one may have in mind, like finding an articulation system, hot to see courses that transfer to a University of California (or a California State University) and others.
