Approver.com – Work Collaboratively on Docs

Approver.comApprover.com aims to help you share and collaborate on important documents.

We have all been through the quagmire of creating collaborative documents, where someone in the chain of command forgets or just doesn’t do the editing on the right date and the whole process gets held up. Approver.com helps to integrate accountability and easy group editing features into the process to streamline and simplify this process. You can either use their site to create a document or upload a document you’ve created in any one of 20 applications, including Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, OpenOffice, JPGs, GIFs, and more. You then share the document with deadlines attached, publish to the web, receive email alerts when someone has edited/approved, view a list of people who have seen the document and whether they have approved it, and even get an RSS feed of all the documents in your profile. You can even create workgroups for those groups of people that collaborate often on different documents and need one central location for document sharing.

Why Approver.com It Might Be A Killer

This site has a laser-sharp focus on being the best platform for storing, sharing and collaborating on documents — an often challenging and time-consuming process. I like the accountability and control this site gives to the process. In general, I also like sites that have a narrow purpose and strong commitment to excellence. This is one of those sites. I was impressed by the thorough description and guided tours of the site and its functionality.
