The Swedish Institute has opened applications for the She Entrepreneurs 2025 leadership program. This program is designed for highly motivated women entrepreneurs from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region who have scalable businesses that contribute to sustainable solutions in areas such as water, energy, food production, the circular economy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and transportation. She Entrepreneurs provides practical, hands-on leadership training based on real business experience, collaborative learning, and a participant-centric approach.

The program aims to equip participants with tangible tools, insights, and connections to grow their businesses and develop as both entrepreneurs and leaders. To be eligible, applicants must be women entrepreneurs with operational businesses ready for expansion. Their businesses should have the potential to develop financially sustainable models and contribute to sustainable solutions for the climate.

Applicants must also be based in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, or Tunisia. Participants will receive the opportunity to plan and strategize for their business in an inspiring, collaborative learning environment. They will have regular sessions with experts, coaches, and mentors.

Applications open for MENA women entrepreneurs

The program will help increase self-awareness as a leader and provide a deeper understanding of team building. Participants will gain enhanced knowledge in business development, innovation, and partnerships to create relevant and attractive products and services.

They will also gain new perspectives on measuring and increasing the impact of their business. The program includes an onsite learning week in Stockholm, Sweden, where participants will have first-hand experience of the entrepreneurship community in a leading ecosystem in impact entrepreneurship. They will also become part of a strong and engaged community of visionary female founders.

The Swedish Institute will cover the costs of flights to and from Stockholm, accommodation and most meals during the onsite learning week, insurance during the onsite learning week, and all online and onsite training materials. The program timeline includes online training and mentorship from the end of April to the end of October 2025, with regular online workshops focused on growing business turnover, building resilient leadership, and setting and following up on business impact targets. The onsite learning week in Stockholm will take place from September 22–28, 2025, and will be an intensive week of learning, combining workshops, mentoring, field visits, and networking.
