Apple unveiled its latest lineup of devices at the “Glowtime” event, including the iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4. The event was streamed live from the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models feature larger screens and improved performance.

The Pro and Pro Max have 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, respectively, and are powered by the new A18 Pro chip. They also boast advanced camera capabilities, such as a fusion camera, 5x telephoto lens, and 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. The iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999, while the Pro Max begins at $1199.
The standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come with the A18 chip and 8GB of RAM. They include a 48-megapixel main camera, a 12MP autofocus ultrawide camera, and an action button for easier camera access. Prices start at $799 for the iPhone 16 and $899 for the iPhone 16 Plus.

Apple’s watch adds sleep apnea detection
Apple also introduced updates to the AirPods lineup. The AirPods Pro now includes a hearing test and hearing aid functionality, pending FDA approval.
The AirPods 4 feature a redesigned shape and enhanced audio architecture, with prices starting at $129 for the entry-level model and $179 for the noise-canceling version. The Apple Watch Series 10 was unveiled with a larger case size and screen. It includes health-monitoring features like sleep apnea detection, which is pending FDA approval.
The Series 10 starts at $399, or $499 for the GPS + cellular model, and comes in black, silver, and rose gold. The Apple Watch Ultra saw minor updates, including a new black finish and additions to its Hermes band collection. During the event, Apple teased several upcoming artificial intelligence tools called Apple Intelligence, which aim to enhance user experience across their devices.
The new iPhone 16 models, along with the updates to the Apple Watch and AirPods, showcase significant advancements in technology and set the stage for the future of consumer electronics.
