Apple plans to unveil the Powerbeats Pro 2 wireless earbuds on Tuesday, February 11. The new earbuds will cost $250 in the U.S. and feature several upgrades over the original model. The Powerbeats Pro 2 will include the same H2 chip found in the AirPods Pro 2.

This will allow for improved active noise cancellation compared to the first Powerbeats Pro. Users will be able to connect the Powerbeats Pro 2 to gym equipment like treadmills to measure heart rate. This data will be accessible in the Health app and other supported apps on the iPhone.

The new earbuds will come in new color options, including a vibrant Electric Orange. This was confirmed by Mark Gurman in his newsletter. Other potential upgrades for the Powerbeats Pro 2 include improved sound quality and longer battery life.

Updating Powerbeats boosts connectivity and colors

The new charging case is expected to support USB-C port. The Powerbeats Pro 2 launch is highly anticipated.

It promises several advancements that cater to both fitness enthusiasts and general consumers. In addition to the Powerbeats Pro 2, Apple is reportedly developing a new event invitation service for iCloud. It is codenamed “Confetti.” This service aims to rival existing platforms like Partiful and Calendly.

Confetti will offer a unique way to invite people to parties, functions, and meetings. While details are limited, Gurman suggests that Confetti might be introduced as soon as this week. Apple has also recently updated its Calendar app with new features.

These include a month overview and improvements to Reminders integration. The integration of Confetti could add another layer of convenience for users planning and organizing events.
