Anologue.com – A New Way To Communicate
Well, one such individual has come up with this new site in order to address the shortcomings that he sees in email, Twitter, Google Wave and every other tool for communication and collaboration available out there.
As a result, Anologue (the name he chose for this application) takes everything to the simplest and more direct level by letting you start a linear dialogue with others in a chat room that has got its own, unique URL. Only people who have that link can come in and join the conversation. This goes into ensuring the privacy necessary for discussing work-related topics, and it also keeps trolls and spammers at bay.
Anologue can be used for free, as many times as you want. And it is an open source application, too.
Anologue.com In Their Own Words
“Anologue is like comments, meets im, meets irc, meets your favorite paste app, meets instant coffee.
Actually, instant coffee sucks.
With anologue you can quickly and easily engage in an anonymous (or not) linear dialogue with any number of people (within reason).”
Why Anologue.com It Might Be A Killer
It is a really fast way to get in touch with others and exchange information – you don’t even have to register.
Some Questions About Anologue.com
Will people use it? Is it really that preferable over Twitter or IM?
