Targeted mainly for elementary school children, Animals.com is the essential guide to learning about animals, their behavior, habitat and likes, both from a fun and educational perspective.
Though the site is presently undergoing some revamping process, and because of that certain areas are inactive for the time being, though you can still learn lots of fun stuff by reading this blog-like site aggregating news and resources from around the internet, and which works as an effective guide to start reading to prepare a project, a class, or just for fun, as it caters for scientific interests and the pet loving bit too. The site is very nicely designed, though probably not too attractive for younger audiences, as it presents mainly links and no pictures or illustrations, though we can expect that to be improved once the site is formally launched. Since they are still testing the new version, it could be a fun idea for young learners to explore a bit and send in their suggestions for the things they’d enjoy seeing in Animals.com.
