The Anarchists Cookbook was first written by William Powell back in nineteen seventy one as a protest against the American governments involvement in the Vietnam War. This controversial publication contained a series of recipes and instructions as to how to make explosives, rudimentary devises for telephone hacking and other items that would be deemed dangerous or illegal.
At the time this book caused a lot of controversy as many of the recipes did not work and it also was not endorsed by the anarchist movements of the time.
