American.com is run by young editors and writers who comprise the English department at the American Enterprise Institute. Their goal is to provide interesting articles that are relevant to today’s society without sounding like a CNN article. The stuffy atmosphere is discarded for articles filled with jest, mirth, facts, along with interesting, informational graphics to keep the reader engaged. American.com is run with the slogo “The Online Magazine of the American Enterprise Institute” and follow the trend of being a paper less literary magazine, showing that they’re up to date in this modern world.

Their articles do not contain any sort of celebrity information or gossip that is usually found amongst young Americans. Instead, they focus on what’s really important in the news. The writers gravitate towards economics and politics as well as news worthy foreign events.
