The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is set to launch soon. It will have a base clock speed of 4.7 GHz. This is an increase from the previous 4.2 GHz.
A recent leak has confirmed the clock speed. It also provided more details about the CPU. The Ryzen 7 9800X3D will have 96 MB of L3 cache.
It will have a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 120 Watts. It is expected to keep the same 8-core layout.

One Core Complex Die (CCD) will have full access to the extra L3 cache. AMD has not officially confirmed the launch date. However, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is expected to be released on October 24.
Sales may begin a week or two after that. The rest of the Zen 5 X3D SKUs are expected to launch next year. They may have additional 3D V-cache.
This new release aims to provide significant performance improvements. It may be especially good for compute-heavy applications. This makes the Ryzen 7 9800X3D a highly anticipated addition to AMD’s CPU lineup.
