Aliciapatterson.org is the online home of the Alicia Patterson Foundation.
The Foundation was set in order to honor the memory of Alicia Patterson. This great woman was the editor and publisher of Newsday magazine for over 23 years. The foundation offers one year and six month grants to journalists who are willing to pursue investigative projects which well then be featured in The APF Reporter, the quarterly magazine published by the Alicia Patterson Foundation. On the site, you will find the latest issue of The APF Reporter. You will be able to read all of the interesting stories that were written by the distinguished journalists chosen by the Foundation’s board of directors.
